I was twice in Austria one 1986 and in 2007. I 1986 i had we my friend Bruno funny story when we cross border between Austria and Germany, in the afternoon we went to Austria and at midnights we cross the border. The custom decide because they found that we are suspect, to take all the thing from our car even the seat to see if we have no weapons ( it was the time when a terrorist attack was held in one town in Germany) > So all the car was inspected and they let us to put all back are they are to lazy to do it by themselves
Second We was there (wife) for one wee holidays and visit a lot of but main reason was to listen concert and opera , you can find that at each corner
